It’s Tax Day and across America and thousands are holding Tea Parties in protest of the government spending. With close to 1,000 events happening today, this grassroots effort, modeled after the Boston Tea Party, takes aim against government spending, tax hikes and corporate bailouts. "We're average citizens, peacefully protesting a government that is loading unfathomable and incomprehensible debt on future generations" says Sara James, project leader for the Richmond tea party, who expects close to 2,000 attendees at her Richmond, VA event.
