MoveOn.org is comprised of bullies and cowards. Just this past Wednesday, they removed their infamous “General Betray US” ad from their website. I exposed them and their cozy relations with the New York Times when in September of 2007, the NYT gave a “favorable ad rate” to MoveOn.org for their “General Betray Us” ad. The rate was so favorable that it amounted to a donation in kind. MoveOn.org was forced to pay the difference between the “spot ad rate” and the “going rate” for advertising. The ombudsman for the NYT took the paper to task and condemned their actions. The difference between what MoveOn.org paid and what it should have paid was significant. When MoveOn.org placed that disgraceful ad, our now commander in chief, then U.S. Senator and candidate for president was silent. He did not condemn it. Now, when he is in a bind, who does the President turn to? The very General that was disrespected by the shadow DNC. The fact that it took so long for MoveOn.org to take down that despicable ad speaks volumes about them and all that donate to them and take money from them.
